Tone Deaf Quartet was hatched in Southern Oregon in 2009 with original members Al Robins, baritone , Tom Walker, lead, Doug Borngasser, Bass and Michael Biggs, tenor/eye candy. The quartet over the next few years was able to headline BHS chapter shows across the northwest, headline The Oregon Shakespeare Festival Green Show several times, sing for thousands of local kids at school assemblies and even open for Mr. Ed Asner in Reno Nevada. In 2014 Tone Deaf was invited by The Ministry of Education of The Cook Islands (South Pacific) to perform their famous “chicken set” for the all the children of Rarotonga, while there they performed 13 shows in 5 days! Sadly in May of 2015, Al left us to join that big quartet in the sky. Tom, Doug & Michael decided to continue the silliness and invited their friend/baritone Greg Hatley to join the flock, he’s an amazing singer and member of the internationally acclaimed Oregon SenatesAires Mens Chorus based in Salem Oregon.
